From 300 to 30,000 euros: all of them are "websites". Here is what hides behind the difference and how not to pay for things you do not need.
"How much does a website cost?" is the first question we get, and the honest answer is: it depends on what it needs to do. A 5-page presentation site and an online shop with 500 products are two completely different products.
What affects the price
- Number of pages and sections: home, services, portfolio, blog, contact
- Design: a ready-made template or a design made for your brand
- Languages: every extra language needs its own texts, translation and SEO
- Features: online shop, bookings, price calculators, customer area
- Admin panel: whether you can change the content yourself
- Photos and texts: do you have them ready or do they need to be created
Ongoing costs
The domain (around 10–20 € per year), hosting (from 5 € per month) and, if you want it, maintenance: updates, backups and small changes.
How not to pay more than necessary
Start with what brings customers now: a fast, clear site with easy contact and your work. Add the shop, the app and other languages when the business asks for them. A well-built site allows this without starting from scratch.
